What to Know

The State Bar of Texas hosted their 41st annual Advanced Personal Injury Law Course in San Antonio, TX from July 23 through the 25, 2025. Presented by TexasBarCLE in San Antonio, this three-day event featured presentations and educational sessions from top experts in the field, including Crain Brogdon, LLP Partner Quentin Brogdon. Presenters and educators shared the latest strategies, case law updates, and their own practical insights with the personal injury law community. 

The 2025 Gene Cavin Award for Excellence

On the final day of the course during the awards ceremony, Quentin Brogdon was awarded The State Bar of Texas’s 2025 Gene Cavin Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education. The award was presented by Tex Quesada and Justice Patricia O. Alvarez (Ret.), and is considered the highest honor given by the State Bar for lifetime contributions to continuing legal education for lawyers.

Brogdon’s Ongoing Support

When he is not in the office or the courtroom representing clients, partner Quentin Brogdon is active in the legal community where he shares his dedication and passion for the law. He is a past recipient of the State Bar of Texas Continuing Legal Education Department’s Standing Ovation Award for contributions to continuing legal education.
