Javier Perez is dedicated to providing his clients – who come from all walks of life – with the high caliber representation they deserve. Attorney Perez is experienced in the courtroom – he has litigated hundreds of cases in state and federal court and has represented clients in over a dozen civil jury trials, bench trials, and final arbitration hearings.
For his work in the legal profession, Javier was selected to serve on the Merit Selection Panel Committee to interview and recommend the next Magistrate Judge for the federal court in Dallas, Texas. Attorney Perez has been repeatedly named both a Rising Star and Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers Magazine, one of the Best Lawyers in Dallas and by D Magazine, and a Top Latino Lawyer nationally by Latino Leaders magazine. Javier has also been elected a fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation, the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers Foundation, and the Dallas Women Lawyers Foundation.
Javier was a founding partner in a plaintiff’s litigation firm in Dallas and worked under former Federal Judge Joe Kendall. Mr. Perez is also a former legal extern to Texas Supreme Court Justice David Medina, Federal Magistrate Judge J. Scott Hacker, and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF).
Javier is a proud double-alumnus of the University of Texas and lives in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas, with his wife Caelie, son Leo (6), and rescue dogs Molly and Hugo.
